Gemverie was born from the meeting of GEM and REVERIE.

Creation begins with nature.

We do not reproduce a landscape. We distill its color, rhythm, form and light, then translate them through natural gemstones and metal. Formed over immense spans of geological time, each gemstone carries its own color, translucency, texture and internal character. Cutting and polishing reveal its luster; metal gives it line and structure. Nature becomes design.

Every gemstone chosen for a design is observed and selected by hand. Color, translucency, form and proportion determine its place within the piece. Our principal metal components are made in 925 sterling silver, with structure, finish and wearability considered together.
Each piece is made and inspected by hand. Our makers attend closely to the arrangement, stringing, joining and finishing, checking spacing, structure and metal surfaces throughout. True quality lives in every detail, seen and unseen.
